Certainly the second book is much closer, especially with Jordam.

What I do like is the fact that Jeffrey's stepping outside of his characters a bit allows his own voice to show through, and I don't mind that voice.

This is an excellent issue to discuss!

-Robert
http://robert.epictales.orgRobert Treskillardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17767228138541201198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9896011.post-9453160201150457232009-02-16T16:24:00.000-07:002009-02-16T16:24:00.000-07:00I still had trouble with all the switches, but may...I still had trouble with all the switches, but maybe that's just me. Omniscient used to be so cool when I was a kid--the whole "I get to control the universe, and know what everyone is thinking" gig can be pretty appealing--but now I want to be part of the story, and that's best achieved through limited third or in first person.Keanan Brandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12638962927055276969noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9896011.post-69683695286886483932009-02-16T10:57:00.000-07:002009-02-16T10:57:00.000-07:00I LOVED this series too!I LOVED this series too!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15185060505158684073noreply@blogger.com
