We're ba-ack :)

We had a great trip to Victoria. Our daughter Hanna was able to join us to visit her brother and sister-in-law. About all I really wanted to post tonight was the photos we took of each other drinking bubble tea in Chinatown. I'll try and catch more highlights in the next couple days.

Ah, good question Linda. (And it proves I shouldn't post when I'm THAT tired...) Bubble tea is an oriental drink made with tea, fruit juice, and tapioca. It can be made with various types of tea, and many combinations of juices. The black tapioca (which I have to admit sounds disgusting!) is mostly mushy but chewy and comes up through the extra thick straw. You can also get the tea with pineapple or coconut jellies (which my girls tried) instead of the tapioca. Check out http://bubbletea.ca

A drink worth trying at a Chinatown near you...
