How the weather changes!

The picture below was taken a week ago.

Today I took the photo that has become my blog header and the one below.

Last Tuesday we got about eight inches of snow. It cleared off nicely but didn't warm up, so nothing melted significantly. I woke up this morning to falling snow and by evening I would guess we've had about another 8-10 inches of fluffy powder. Some may like this kind of snow; I was just thankful I didn't have to drive today.

I've had a nasty cold this week that has sapped much of my energy and sleep. And given me a scratchy throat. Hope to be on the mend soon. Like really soon.

I think you need to share that snow. Hugs. Feel better.

That's the kind of snow I grew up with and have desperately missed. I do know what you mean about driving, though. I know how to drive in snow; it's the people who don't that scare me! I hope you feel better soon, too. I thought I was getting sick over the weekend (I got the flu the last time I went to Dallas) but I got some Airborne and it seems to have worked. Then again, it might be that I'm still allergic to Texas!

Yay! Snow! We got some too, but then it rained on top, so ours is kinda icy looking.

Overnight we had the rain, now (Monday morning) we're having snow again. I'm taking a *sick and slick* day off work, but hubby's driving right now.

Most of the southern half of BC is on travel advisory today. It's a mess.

Sorry you are feeling poorly. We have been, too. I love your new graphic. Did your daughter do it?

We've just now lost the leaves on the trees. I hope we get a little snow this year now that my kids are old enough to enjoy it. But I'm not holding my breath.

Feel better.
